Last August tarpipe reached the milestone of 100,000 processed posts per month and that showed us how our platform is bringing value to a lot of different users. Today we're thrilled to announce that the platform has reached a total of one million processed posts, with an increasing number of posts being processed each month, as the following chart illustrates.

While this is a huge validation of what our platform can deliver, it also brings new challenges to the table. You might have noticed that we did a system maintenance earlier this week. This maintenance will not only let us serve you better while keeping up with this usage increase, but it will also let us add more features more easily.

Introducing tarpipe premium plans

We're also introducing tarpipe premium plans. After studying the results of our recent user survey we created our plans based on the features you said you value the most. The plans are based on a gradually increasing usage of three variables:

• requests per month: the number of requests you make to our platform (e-mail, bookmarklet, REST, API, or any other application);
• used destinations: the number of destinations where your information is being published or sent to;
• workflows: the number of workflows you own.

Plans start at USD $4.90 per month if you're in the United States or € 4.90 for the rest of world. The Pro plan will offer you unlimited requests per month, 2 destinations and 1 workflow. For heavy users, we recommend the Max plan, which offers unlimited requests, destinations and workflows.

All users that signed up before October 12, 2010 will have until the end of this year to decide which plan to subscribe to. If your current usage already fits into one of our plans you should have received an e-mail message with information about this. You can learn more about your current usage and subscription options on your settings page, under "Premium plans".

New users will be offered the choice of one of the plans during sign up. You'll still be able to sign up for free like before but we'll be watching your usage and will inform you whenever any of the limits are reached. You'll then have the option of decreasing your usage or simply subscribing to the plan that best fits your needs.
